Fonts and Library

hi!

 

i have few questions boiling in mind. own copy of indesign cs6 through creative cloud , i'm working on magazine.

 

questions:

 

1.i have downloaded font use restricted due licensing issues, says error. page downloaded @ states free use, commercial purposes.

fontname: royal

http://www.fontspace.com/aldus/royal

i error when trying publish pdf file.

 

2. possible create library in indesign assets graphics, text,  , on , send file else use of it. create assets needed magazine speak.

 

3. possible link text jumps example page?

indesign reads internal bit in font know whether embeddable. if bit not proerly set font author, id see restricted , not able embed it, regardless of waht license may or may not say.

 

yes, can create library in indesign, don't think want. use library set of assets used many times in multiple publications make easy find them, , believe libraries pointers locations of original content (that may not true text objects) sending library file doesn't sahre access originals won't use. can "package" , document (file > package...) old method sending things print, , gather document , links , fonts single folder transfer.

 

if mean can text flow 1 page another, yes. that's called threading , should read files working text , come if have unanswered questions. if mean can creat text in 1 location , hav repeated elsewhere, update when original text updated, in cs6 answer yes, , that's called linked story. should aslo check files on that.
