How can I prevent any editing from frontend? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi guys

my unsolved problems heaping up. latest problem rather embarrassing because jeopardizes whole web site. how can prevent people adding or editing contents frontend? problem shows in 2 ways. 1) in category list view have unwanted link "new" on bottom of articles list, allows add add article. , single links - use standard link component of joomla - have edit symbol next it.

i have searched over. set permissions "denied" - nothing. cannot cannot turn off manipulation of web site outside!?

does have ideas how turn off?

i using joomla 2.5.7

what changes have made acl levels site? in particular categories, general groups have access site public/registered/author/.
what extensions if have added expand access create articles on frontend? ask not standard feature of joomla aware of unless created using menu manager!
is occurring levels of user or when log in using administration username , password?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
