I am unable to open AcrobatPro 9.5.2 on Mac.

this new problem me. can't upgrade or install acrobat reader. when click icon bumps going open, nothing happens. see no preferences in system folder.

there seems lot of problems acrobatpro 9.5.2 on mac, adobe doesn't seem addressing these.  i, upgraded 9.5.2, in case 9.5.1 (which worked great), there host of problems 9.5.2.  unlike you, can open 9.5.2, , can open pdf in 9.5.2, can not save it, , program hangs --usually within seconds or minute--when try use  of large number of menu items ( spinning color wheel of death foreverrrrrrrrrr....) .

 

just bad, safari  performance is  affected.  snail, , if try download pdf in safari using acrobatpro helper application ( i.e. adobepdfviewer.plugin) acrobatpro installed in library, again often-- not always-- spinning color wheel of death--again, , again , , again...  removing adobepdfviewer.plugin from  internet plug-ins  directory of library directory restores safari previous speedy gonzalas speed, , can again download pdfs ( using apple pdf software--not acrobatpro).  works downloads (using inate apple software), if want use acrobatpro anything--crash, crash, crash, hang, hang, hang...

 

i've made several bug-reports adobe, , asked several times advice on how version 9.5.1 talking brick wall. not nice way treat customers.  afraid not talk unless purchase new service agreement, though software update has made impossible use acrobatpro.

 

to else out ther contemplating upgrading version 9.5.2:  dont it!!!!

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
