Image Finder

hi work in prepress environment have relink files once moved relevant hi res folder.

 

quite there willd hundreds of images in said folders , after hitting relink button , open correct folder, had hit 'open' button , 1st missing image found , rest found automatically.

now have manually locate 1st image. why 'open' find facility cease work.

i have looked within indesign preferences , nothing in file handling ie check links/find links, changes fact still have find first image.

i know sounds pedantic have , life easier before. have relink hundreds of images per day, can imagine, takes bit longer.

 

is possible 'open-find- facility setting on pc setting rather indesign preferences.

i have found answer. discovered since new system software installed (windows 7) within folder , file settings, extensions hidden. therefore when indesign locating file names looking exact replicas of names including extensions.

it fussy first click, found other names without extensions.

 

bloody pc's, hate them.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
