Joomla login from non-joomla user table. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

we have non-joomla system, wherein thousands of users exists. everday hundreds of users added system , hundreds getting deleted. hence user table volatile.
structure of table (apart unique key):
1. column1 : username
2. column2 : password
3. column3 : email address.

now, have other system joomla 2.5 based. want users login in joomla 2.5 based system, users existing in above non-joomla system. users exist right in non-joomla system should allowed login in joomla 2.5 based system.

please suggest solution.

you need use normal joomla authentication plugin plugins/authentication/joomla/joomla.php model access user table in other database, assuming mysql database.

if other web server uses microsoft sql database, can use odbc functions of php access database.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
