Mac OSX: How do I serialize multiple Macs after imaging?

ok, before it... unaware serial numbers linked machines before imaging. needless did not use aamee make installer, did old school deploystudio

 

that being said have hundereds of macs thinking using trial versions now, fall 2012 semester underway @ college, , screwed.

 

i trying run aamee 3.1 wants product installation folder not exist because did not use aamee in first place make installer. why adobe not have serialization tool plug in sn , adobe id , away goes??? spend lot of money in education market dumped on???

the product install folder path upto (but not including) set-up.exe of media trying serialize. example, if using master collection cs6, path of product install folder path upto set-up.exe of master collection cs6 media. should create serialization executable using aamee 3.1 , serialize macs got installed in trial.

the output of serialization executable workflow folder containing adobeserialization.exe , prov.xml file. should copy systems trial installed , run executable via command line -

 

adobeserialization --tool=volumeserialize --provfile=absolute_path_of_prov.xml

 

where

 

--tool=volumeserialize specifies tool needs process prov.xml file serialize.

 

--provfile specifies absolute file path prov.xml file,

by default, tool looks prov.xml file in same directory executable file , typically not need specify option. (specify option if prov.xml file in some

other location.)

 

this serialize cs6 products.for more information, please refer page 40 of  aamee documentation posted @ http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/enterprisedeployment.html
