Remove Background Color from Scan
hello. i'm scanning acrobat 9 pro, , paper being scanned light-green in color. scanning students' homework pages on pre-printed worksheets, there printing on light-green paper, students' hand-written answers. scanning b&w or greyscale doesn't work because pencil doesn't have enough contrast background show up.
==> easiest way remove background color , change images greyscale or @ least white background <==
i've tried optmize pdf / background removal, no luck that.
my current workflow use touch-up object tool, select each portion of scan (there 3 image objects per page), choose "edit image" (which brings photoshop), perform sequence of steps in photoshop select color of background, delete it, desaturate image, , return acrobat. fortunately, able automate steps photoshop action. still, having click on 3 objects on every page real hassle.
is there better way remove background scan when comes colored piece of paper?
prefilght seems promising, have no experience that.
any advice helpful.
thanks!
