Thread: error with apt-get update


i having error preventing me running apt-get update. whenever run apt-get update terminal replies “e: type 'exit' not known on line 60 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list e: list of sources not read.”


@ first getting error line 59 went in , replaced “wget -q http://repository.cairo-dock.org/ubuntu/cairo-dock.gpg -o- | sudo apt-key add -sudo apt-get updateapt-get install cairo-dock cairo-dock-plug-ins sudo apt-get install cairo-dock-plugins” “deb http://repository.cairo-dock.org/ubuntu hardy cairo-dock.”


ubuntu software center never load, unsure if has it. if can please me out it'd appreciated.

remove exit last line in file.

also, next last line references hardy cairo-dock. don't think line correct. cairo-dock changed name glx-dock. don't know needs used repo in natty. if put # @ beginning of line until googled correct repo.
