Thread: Gotta lose Unity, help

howdy, i've installed natty on netbook work, wasn't bad, 1 terminal window @ time limiting multiple pings, worked although seemed making excuses boss unity's limitations often. anyway, netbook, don't know older guy myself thinking getting little screen. installed natty on our livingroom pc perhaps handle on how configure unity. nothing worked on old desktop pc. had upgrade memory unity boot. install compiz or such crap has sorts of settings, good, didn't seem anything. frustration wouldn't mind if kind of modern interface going possible.

foolishly think sitting here netbook not show stupid launcher , won't let me open fix this. need netbook tomorrow morning work, i'm rural wifi installer.
help! safe mode? go back? launcher on screen, sucks, , extremely disappointed natty , unity. need lose 11.04 , go 10.10 got no cd in netbook.

at login screen, click on user name , session menu on bottom panel, select ubuntu classic, should take gnome setup used to.

not sure why limited 1 terminal though, can use tabs within single terminal or open new terminal windows.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
