Thread: VT1708BCE - Audio not working
hello. i'm having problems configuring chipset vt1708bce on ubuntu 10.04 box. i'm using alsa 1.0.23.
first installed ubuntu 10.04 (alsa 1.0.21). configuration, audio (front , rear) works. however, none of microphones (front , rear) work.
upgraded alsa version 1.0.23, , result rear audio , microphone did work, front panel (audio , microphone) stopped working.
below results of alsa-info.sh script. can see (search "control.20") volume on 'front mic boost capture volume' set 0. i've tried change volume using alsamixer , gnome-volume, none of them seem work.
have clue of wrong? thank much!
