i seem having same issue on clean 3.0.2 install. have missed silly?

i had same problem when trying install joomla 3.0.2. client on hostgator.
to solve downloaded http://www.usbwebserver.net/nl/
and installed new joomla 3.0. site locally.

ive uploaded sql online server
and changed configuration file match online site
i removed install folder too

i had php version error on hostgator so
i added

# use php 5.3
addtype application/x-httpd-php53 .php

to htaccess

that made site , running
