Has per-character 3D "orient towards camera" changed in CS6?
i'm working on tutorial out of trish & chris meyer's book, shows how animate 3d text character face towards camera. tutorial works fine in cs5.5, not in cs6. able make layer or entire line of text orient towards camera, single characters not animate. see red rectangle "bounding box" sort of thing around each character (in both cs5.5 , cs6). when animate camera move in cs6, bounding boxes move expected, text characters "stuck" in place. when first enable auto-orientation option (via right clicking on text layer , choosing transform submenu options), individual characters partially move position that's close facing camera, depending on camera in comp. mean characters no longer "flat", partially rotated towards camera. however, once start animating camera, characters don't move. clues i'm doing wrong, or may have changed in cs6?
are in correct camera view? renderer set in comp options?
