How do I resize some (super)wide panels?

hello all!

 

i have problem in photoshop cs5 (windows version v12.1 x64).

 

my screen resolution 1680x1080, "extra" screen space eaten wide panels.  can't adjust width, it's locked wide (see picture below). example, actions panel 2 columns wide. give me lot's of screen space if have 1 column.

 

p.s.

i understand panels wider default , therefore affects other panels if grouped together, can't resized when ungrouped.

you're seeing minimum panel width there, , there's nothing can have them auto-hide when not in use.  of panels can shrunk much, because need room display stuff that's there, e.g., near top.

 

many folks doing serious photoshop work second monitor panels use can kept open full-time.  have 2 1600 x 1200 monitors.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
