Thread: GRUB Overwritten

i created triple-boot netbook. have latest ubuntu, backtrax 5, , windows 7 on it. had working fine. when tried follow truecrypt tutorial on getting windows partition encrypted ended overwriting mbr(ie: grub). knew happen, didn't expect truecrypt boot loader wouldn't detect bootable partition.

windows 7 partition hadn't been encrypted, yet. true crypt doing test feature, before drive encrypted. believe linux partitions , windows 7 partitions still in-tact. however, can not partitions load, due truecrypt loader not working.

have tried supergrub2, didn't detect partitions, , rescatux, did detect partitions failed every time. trying follow grub re-install (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/grubhowto) via command line, ran hiccups along way.

if can walk me through process of reinstating grub thankful, , if requires lot of time can reimburse through paypal. have never had seek these kind of issues, before. new linux, has severely hampered progress far.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
