Thread: Ubuntu 11.04 Fresh Install -- Can't open ports?

hi all,
yesterday switched centos ubuntu, , wanted install teamspeak3 runs on ports 9987 udp , 10011 tcp. teamspeak3 worked fine on centos before this.

appears running , netstat -an reports:

code:
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:9987 0.0.0.0:* tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:10011 0.0.0.0:* listen
i believe firewall ubuntu "ufw", correct? if so, "ufw status" reports:

code:
status: inactive
i have other things running on udp (counter strike source servers) , people can connect fine.

when telnet localhost 10011 response teamspeak3 server:
code:
trying 127.0.0.1... connected localhost. escape character '^]'. ts3 welcome teamspeak 3 serverquery interface, type "help" list of commands , "help <command>" information on specific command.
however, telnetting outside gets no answer, leads me believe firewall in way.

know i'm doing wrong?

thanks!

does have idea be? maybe network firewall?
