Thread: virtual hosts help

hi everybody,
know there many posts regarding virtual hosts, have read many of them.
cannot virtual hosts work no matter try.
have followed several tutorials, have tried host file entries, have tried simplest conf file <virtualhost> directive, copying default conf , making directory changes. nothing seems work.
have tried fresh install , configs, still no go.
when set ubuntu instal mysql, php5, , phpmyadmin.
cannot think of else. wondering if virtual hosts need setup on apache2 before installing rest of php software?
when apache2 vhost dump see 2 virtual hosts default , syntax ok. appreciated.

forgot mention make config files in sites-enabled , use a2ensite command enable them , of course restart apache2.

how handling name resolution? enter browser's address bar when accessing these hosts? name use must match 1 of in vhost's servername or serveralias files.

that's why it's called "namevirtualhost"

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
