Thread: word documents.

hi,
saved document in libreoffice in .doc format when tried open same document in windows msword,the encoding wrong , couldnt open.
@ same time,when try open .docx documents in libreoffice,they dont display properly.i see string of characters.
can ensure documents can viewed both in msword , libreoffice?

i use openoffice (it came ubuntu 10.10) rather libreoffice, believe 2 programs similar.

haven't encountered problems describe in post.

saving office program , reading in word: check version of word format using. in openoffice offers several formats when save document. 1 use 'word2000/xp' since, far know, later versions of word can read format.

reading .docx , opening in office: don't know why doesn't work, haven't had problems myself. suggest on libreoffice forum rather here, since guess application-specific issue.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
