why I'am unable to install cs4 in a second machine

    paid license cs4 installed in computer @ work , graded cs5. i'have second computer  @ home. on tried unsuccesfuly install same software cs4 . understand license allowes use whenever not use @ same time

we'll assume both computers of 1 , same platform, macintosh or windows.  license pretty platform specific.  assuming here still have 1 activation left out of 2 license allows.

 

if had installed cs4 on computer earlier , deleted installation without deactivating it, out of allowed licenses , have on phone adobe customer service set things right deactivating uninstalled version.

 

next step indicate what kind of error message getting when try install cs4 on other computer.  what happens when try?

 

also, since have valid cs5 serial number, why don't install cs5 on home computer?  perhaps second computer old ppc power mac rather intel mac.  cs5 , cs6 not run or install on power mac (the last power mac made 6 years ago), cs4 does.

 

all adobe upgrade full installers. if don't find previous installed version on new machine, prompt serial version of old version of new one.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
