DIgital video lagged

i have few digital videos in project.they in mp4 format.they ran smoothly when played them directly through computer memory.however, got lagged when played them through disk.what should play them smoothly on disk.please me , appreciate much.

i think reason why message hasn't received response yet because have not defined has happening. more direct discussion, problem understand follows:
the application has number of videos, large in file size (around 90mb). when run application through director, or projector, videos load hard drive, videos play smoothly. however, when copy application files, including video, onto cd or dvd, playback of video off these devices not smooth. non smooth playback, more of jerky, dropping of frames, rather slow start (pause while loading).

 

the reason different playback experiences different devices have different bandwidths - amount of data can handle on time. hard drive can handle higher bandwith dvd, can better cd, way of dealing adjust teh data rate of video. reducing eman less data , betetr result off device has lower bandwith.
