PSE6 not opening in Win7

i have photoshop elements 6 installed. have never felt need 'upgrade' still on 6.. have installed patch windows recommended regular windows 'security scan' in past few days.

i not want rewind before patch as, presumably, required.

it working fine last week opening required. seems open when clicked not. nothing in task manager show might running in background.

i've tried running pse administrator, changing compatibility other windows. no joy.

thanks help

 

 

make direct shortcut editor , see if works when double click desktop icon.

 

on windows, right click anywhere on desktop , select new >> shortcut

 

then click browse button , navigate to:

 

 

"c:\program files\adobe\photoshop elements 6.0\photoshopelementseditor.exe"

 

 

then click next; click finish

n.b. on 64 bit systems navigate program files (x86)

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
