Thread: a couple of normalize-audio questions

i put mp3s mix cds on desktop, cd desktop , run

code:
normalize-audio -m -v *.mp3
but on manual pages here http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/...e-audio.1.html

found -
mix mode

mode made making mixed cd’s , like. you
want every song on mix same volume, doesn’t matter
if same volume songs on other mix made
last week. in mix mode, average level of files computed,
, each file separately normalized average volume.
what command run normalize-audio command in mix mode?

also, have purchased cd louder of other cds (my own mixes , purchased well) - there way use normalize-audio turn volume down on tracks @ once?

edit - got answer first part.. -m flag.

second question- didn't word well. trying figure out if turn tracks down set amount, rather having normalize choose adjustment.

thanks,

mystmaiden
