Thread: lenovo wifi disabled broadcom


hi,
im using natty in lenovo b460. after installation not able connect wifi. ethernet working alright.
searched additional drivers , installed broadcom 43xx drivers. after restart network applet says wireless disabled hardware switch, after switched on/off several times.
lenovo b460
kernel:2.6.38-8-generic 32-bit
broadcom corporation bcm4313 802.11b/g/n wireless lan controller (rev 01)
ubuntu 11.04

tried "sudo rfkill list".
output is

soft blocked: yes
hard blocked: no

hard blocked: no..
appreciated....

please open terminal , do:
code:
sudo rmmod -f acer-wmi  sudo rfkill unblock  rfkill list all
are able use wireless? if so, can tweak 1 file , make persistent.
