did installation of 10.04.2 , things going except keyboard , mouse.

mouse wheel isn't recognized in applications. few apps not all, , haven't found can correct that.

keyboard big problem in not allow me type in lower case unless have "caps lock" on, in case works lower case. numbers act though i'm depressing shift button pressing shift button doesn't change that, makes impossible enter password.

have double checked have settings correct, ie keyboard set usa. again, doesn't seem happen time, when need them most. both devices connected through kvm switch i'm able check them on different computer , function fine on dos-based machine.

because of password issue access lot of stuff quite limited. have idea options are?
