Thread: Resize ext4 filesystem on LVM2...

i have lvm 16tb in size. expanded 1 of underlying raid-5 arrays 2tb. after expanding logical volume, try grow filesystem. fails message:

code:
 sudo resize2fs /dev/vg_pool/pool resize2fs 1.41.12 (17-may-2010) resize2fs: file large while trying determine filesystem size
i'm on 10.10 64-bit. it's desktop instead of server, use server, , figured there more people experience sort of setup here.

how expand filesystem?

hi,

can try reducing lvm abit less 16tb , retrying (1byte enough).

regards
