Thread: ubuntu wont boot via live cd

so decided try ubuntu first time 4 days ago, of people in forum figured out how run ubuntu on live cd. everythig going , planning on installing after got used it, experience bit sluggish guess because running cd. today booted laptop , ubuntu took longer usual booting up, got stuck on purple loading screen 15 minutes, , after while got code:

(intramfs)mount:mounting/dev/loop0 on//filesystem. squashf,falied:input output error can not mount/dev/loop0(/cdrom/casper)filesystem.squashf)on//filesystem.squashf

udeud[73]:worker[186] unexpectedly returned statys 0x0100 udeud[73]:worker[186]failed while handling'/devices/virtual/block/loop0

have 11.04... ubuntu noob please bear me.

if boot cd again, @ first purple screen press key.on next screen (after choosing language) click on "check errors".

if haven't done should check md5sum of downloaded iso. if md5sum correct cd has errors need burn image again using slowest settings.

or try cleaning cd , cd drive's laser eye dry cloth.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
