V4 Profiles

i've seen quite lot of mention of v4 profiles recently. i'm not sure are, know better quality / more refined older profiles.

 

i use profile made myself using dng profile editor , colorchecker card year or 2 ago, don't think thse v4 profiles. in fact have no idea version are.

 

my question is: if want v4 action, custom-built profile using own camera , colorchecker, need do? or, fine i've got?

several versions of camera matching profiles exists d3, d300, d300s, , d700.  don't know d3, d300, , d300s, d700 has 4 versions of camera matching profiles - original, v2, v3, , v4 profiles.  original profiles not have version number, others have same name vx added x version number - camera standard v4 version 4 profile of camera standard profile - exists in acr , lightroom.  version 4 profiles these cameras have better matching nikon equivalent profiles , solve other issues other versions of profiles.  version 4 profiles these cameras have additional parameters , can't edit v4 profiles existing dng profile editor - can edit original, v2, , v3 profiles dng profile editor.  adobe working on upgrade of dng specification , updates other software associated dng specification, including dng profile editor.  don't know if other camera profiles use of parameters in v4 profiles.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
