why do my photos with my new cannon 7D have so much noise

hi,

we got new cannon 7d last week , took on vacation.  when downloaded pictures, have worse noise @ low light our old outdated rebel xt.  pictures ok @ regular magnification, when zoomed in terrible. did not noise xt.  downloaded raw , dng , same.  shots @ 100 iso quite noisy @ 1/3 second.  enlarge these , put them in gallery , suspect amateur.  called cannon & said use software download pictures, , image sensor more sensitive might pick more noise.  i've downloaded thousands of pics lightroom previously, don't think that's & know image sensor more sensitive, i've read says 7d camera , should have less noise old xt.  these tripod shots, 100 iso & anywhere fast shots (which better) long exposures in low light, downloaded lightroom 4. 

has seen this?  have seen posts high noise 7d @ low iso speeds.

you either show pictures, or turn noise reduction default.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
