first not how locked myself out of backend - yes did , got fixed.
the issue arises when add user multiple user groups including super user.
let me explain setup.
1) have multiple access levels in addition core access level. done content viewable specific groups.
2) have multiple user groups. done organize our users groups , view content specific them.
3) have on 800 users assigned @ least 1 of our user groups.
i have admin set super user. able login backend , edit everything. use jce editor on site , when user edits article , trying create link not able see of content setup in specific access levels.
i contacted jce , said need have admin added various groups can "see" content tool. should not problem, when add super user other groups beyond super user group no longer can login backend of site.
i wondering need change fix this. in configuration permission?
