Captivate 6 "lightens" the colors of inserted images?!

i'm running 5.5 , trial of 6. in captivate 6, going on colors of recorded , inserted images. there seems "lightening" when viewing slides in main work area. when view same slide in preview/presentation/browser, colors go original, darker look.

 

this makes editing nightmare. use image capture functions built macs grab colored bar/area, , hide/modify sensitive data it. in 5.5, simple using cmd+shift+4 open screen capture tool, selecting area, , using cmd+shift+m insert newly created screenshot. when using method in captivate 6, inserted screenshot lighter color slide background, can see "seams" stuff hidden. comes through in preview well.

 

what's more frustrating happens when taking screenshot out of browser. example, record section of our software, , becomes slide background. take screenshot of same section mac functions, , instert on top of slide. colors don't match!

 

i've compared settings between 5.5 , 6, , can't see difference. can change, or bug?

do have slide property/quality set @ high? default low, setting high makes difference.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
