Joomla 2.5, How replace old FrontPage website w/ new Joomla - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have old front page website want replace new joomla 2.5. used standard joomla templates , customized site want see.

how replace frontpage site new joomla in ftp , files configured correctly?

if understand question correctly, you

1. have joomla site running in different location production server webspace.
2. want "move" production webspace.
3. want remove old website.

assuming that's right, or close, can tell how it.

1. first have akeeba backup installed on joomla site, , have run @ least 2 backups of whole site.

2. download 1 of archives pc (or if new site on production server in different folder or whatever, move archive to web root) upload web root, public_html, named else. upload kickstart.php file web root.

3. must have mysql database, user, , password established new site, , know hostname (usually "localhost").

4. if want preserve old site (just in case) make "oldsite" folder in root, , move except archive(s) , kickstart.php /oldsite folder.

5. connect site using http://domainname/com/kickstart.php

and follow instructions on screen.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
