Record Live Powerpoint Presentation?

i hosting conference next week , wanted use captivate record powerpoint presentations.  hoping activate recording aspect of captivate record speakers , timing of presentations.

 

the problem facing speakers use remote advance slides , use down or arrow move through slides rather mouse key.  if use mouse clicks should work fine.

 

is there way record @ least timing of slides present can latter merge audio captivate presentation?  happen if use arrow key advance slides rather mouse key.

 

while realize can take powerpoints , convert captivate project hoping make process easier don't have manually guess when moved slide slide.

 

i using captivate 5.5 , powerpoint 2007.  appreciated.

well after digging morning think have found solution.

 

in powerpoint if click "record narration" when presenter giving presentation record slide timing automatically , ignore audio if don't have mic hooked up.  slide timings pull captivate makes importing audio breeze. have lapel microphones presenters won't record audio presentation in real time.  however, correct timed slides easy go , edit audio make sure matches in captivate

 

so best solution can find recording live events captivate , wireless remote record slide timing in powerpoint , import audio along slides captivate.  once in captivate can add questions, etc needed elearning series.

 

woo hoo.  pretty worried getting of worked out before next week.
