i have uploaded j2.5.8 site 1and1 , @ administrator login receive message:
code: select all
you not have access administrator section of site.my username , password correct, , have:
- -used temporary super user override - working
-changed log/tmp path in configuration.php absolute path
-edited super user id in phpmyadmin 42
but still cannot login in normally.
how fix it?
re-upload fresh joomla files, make sure have ftp transfer mode set binary. double check settings in configuration.php , watch out white space.
isn't super user id=42 old? set random or ridiculously high security reasons think.
there's few things need change in configuration.php, have database configured assume?
check tables using phpmyadmin , make sure user account enabled, , check user belongs super admin group or other group access backend using user_usergroup_map table.
try akeeba, makes backup of site , can transfer single file fast, , use kickstart extract , setup site. made simple , on cheap shared hosting platforms it's 1 compressed file it's faster. or can use pro version , use site transfer wizard.
