Thread: No Sound ... Period

i put in general because not sure of nature of problem.

morning our power went out while pc in use. when power came on seemed well, until brother tried play game, doom 3. found sound out.

upon investigation found sound of , kinds out, dvd playback, flash, alerts, everything.

have repaired, purged, reinstalled, , updated sound related modules , drivers there , repeated no results.

speakers work fine , os, 10.10, detecting sound card, integrated motherboard, not detecting speakers themselves, except intermittently.

have tried editing various files , nothing. hope motherboard isn't fried in way.

have checked bios on board , seem fine well.

not fresh install or upgrade. has been running perfect ever since maverick first came out.

there can me out @ least in finding reason why sound out.

try booting livecd. sound work on that? if no, have hardware problem. if yes, have software problem.

PProHeadless.exe has stopped working error when opening projects in Adobe Media Encoder CS6

hi, upgraded adobe cloud cs6 , having problems adobe media encoder cs 6 (version 6.0.1.31 64-bit).   when try add adobe premiere projects in ame, gives me following error:   pproheadless.exe has stopped working   i tried rebooting, , still gives me same error.  project load, won't.   the premiere projects contain h.264 .mov file coming canon t2i.  added overlay logo bottom right of video created in adobe after effects, contains text, no effects, no motion, etc.  have .wav file recorded zoom h4n, not always.  edit in adobe audition remove noise feature.   i running on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.  i'm using i7 16gb ram , ati 6870 video card.   i have lut buddy plugin installed.   it give me error first time try load project, , connection dynamic link server fail.  afterwards, if try load project again, if restart ame, stays stuck in connecting dynamic link server...   any provide appreciated. what happens when drag , a...
