Thread: Wubi install of lucid on vista produces wubildr error

a wubi install of 10.04.2-amd64 causing error on boot:
code:
try hd(0,0): ntfs5 no wubildr
from i've read seems error caused hidden partition (the recovery partition likely) needs manually corrected. of course isn't easy can't access relevant file (it doesn't exist in c:\ubuntu\* , can't lvp)

how fix this?

ps: i've got maybe 9 hours till wake up, it's taken me 3 years , luck of hotmail screwing convince female portion of house try switch please me fix this!

edit: oh it's way late... mount disk file , edit in there couldn't i? think of file in question *should* have been in c:\ubuntu can't find it. it?

edit: 6 hours left tick tock! (defragging... pretty every file on pos ripped shreds)

that's not actual error. have problem #2 , need solution#1 described in wubi megathread.
