How to setup PS Elements as default editor for LR4?

hi all,

i have both ps5 , elements 10 installed on computer. lightroom 4 selected automatically ps5 default editor. planning switch elements 10, prefer have program default editor. unfortunately not see how this. lightroom allows me setup additional editor , option using topaz fusion express. goal replace ps5 elements 10 primary (default) editor. how achieve this?

the default editor set lightroom.

when photoshop lightroom starts, checks see if photoshop installed. if can't find photoshop, checks see if photoshop elements installed. if can't find either, photoshop lightroom disables edit in photoshop command. additional external editor command not affected.

if uninstalled photoshop cs4 after installing photoshop cs5, of data required edit in photoshop have been removed. reinstalling photoshop cs5 fixes issue.

on windows, photoshop lightroom checks photoshop.exe or photoshopelementseditor.exe keys in hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\app paths\ directory of registry. these keys provide file path applications.

on mac os, photoshop lightroom checks com.adobe.photoshop.plist or com.adobe.photoshop.elements.plist files in user's preferences folder. these files provide file path applications, other os-related information applications. plist files on mac os created first time applications started. files created time application started , files not present.

however can have many editors want presets.

thought... 2 "primary" have keyboard shortcut.

lightroom -> preferences -> external editing
