making a film w/ lots of stills and a few videos
hello all,
i planning video using lots of stills in rapid succession interspersed few short videos. i'll have couple of hundred stills , maybe half dozen film clips. stills 12 mega pixels in original resolution; come 3 different cameras , mix of landscape or portrait orientations. clips canon point , shoot, or iphone. final video 720x480.
i'm using cs6 (photoshop , premier pro @ stage) on mac mini running os 10.7 (lion.)
my questions are:
1. there way change default length still displayed in timeline. right default length 5 seconds, i'd change 0.5 or 1.0 second. don't want have change display time of each still place in program window.
2. there comprehensive way select files want, resample them right resolution , drop them in project folder. photoshop has batch processor, doesn't useful purpose, , image processor, meets needs except can't select files, whole folders. suppose move files want use separate folder , use image processor resample them, etc. efficient workflow? can images resampled in premier pro directly?
any appreciated.
thanks,
kevin h.
1. preferences/general/still image default duration.
2. batch resizing done in photoshop, pp cannot do.
pp can downsize stills 100% when using scale fit framesize, still stuck 12 mega pixels each still.
