Moving up from 1.5 - should I choose 2.5 or 3.0 ? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
i have rebuilt couple of smaller sites 1.5 2.5 already. have couple of larger sites multilingual (app. between 100 und 300 pages, translated 4-6 languages). don't want migrate them, i'll rebuild them scratch.
while multilingual functionality of 2.5. (especially because article/menu use in language not have have corresponding item in other language, content totally independent between languages), wonder whether should go 3.0 right away?

if site live site, suggest chooseing joomla! 2.5 3.0 meant advanced users , extension developers. also, 2.5 long term support version , there @ least year.
as multilingual capabilities concerned, of now, there not difference between 2.5 , 3.0. in versions of 2.5 , 3.0 expect article level linking. patches being tested , fine tuned @ time.
