No user can edit any article after upgrading to 2.5 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

upgraded 1.5.26 (whatever highest of series) via jupgrade. appeared come across (articles, users, etc.), no user, including admin account, can edit front end article ... if owner, etc..

i've seen posting on other forum stated issue due jupgrade not setting permissions correctly. provided mysql statement supposedly fix it. since i've been studying issue , tinkering lot permissions.

a typical record in assets table looks following:

com_content.category.128 members sharing {"core.create":{"5":1},"core.delete":{"5":1},"core.edit":{"5":1},"core.edit.state":{"5":1},"core.edit.own":{"5":1}}

'members sharing' category.

ok, here's question: numbers above ('5':1) reference?
is 5 user id? , :1 'turned on' designation?

i've looked @ joomla docs no specific information/examples provided.

to fix problem think way (short of doing on again) edit records in db.

thanks, in advance, assistance or information link provided,
ken

follow own posting .... hmmmmm .....
discovered issue template. resolution: use template. :|

thanks, anyway, whoever read initial posting , thought replying.

'spirit of sharing', ken
