Sample buttons appear with blue background after export to pdf. Why??

so indesign making life easier creating forms...
i have dragged , dropped sample 'checkbox' onto workspace. second box wider because want ‘clickable area’ larger button. there no colours set here other colour of ticks/crosses. looks fine until export pdf (usual interactive options) , there's bit ugly background behind buttons!

i checked other 'states' , none of them had colouring in them either...so ugly blue colouring coming from??
see diagram below see did....thanks in advance - driving me crazy!

it's part of acrobat highlight fillable areas of form. can switched off in acrobat, @ file such functions forms , fillable areas.

unfortunately, have own settings in acrobat, don't think can make default, whatever way people have acrobat set view interactive pdfs.
