Simple selection and copy

ever used propellorhead's reason? has best user interface/controls of program i've ever used.

i'd love see simple elements taken , incorporated premiere. may exist, unknown reason don't produce result in search engine.

in past i've asked questions on forum directed inappropriately titled, relevant, response. apologies (but not really) if i'm doing again.

i'd know if there key that, when held down, , clip dragged, produces duplicate of said clip?

and also,

if there key selecting 1 track viewed/played @ time? yes, know can shift click deselct all, select track, that's 1 click don't need.

 

these functions in reason , photoshop respectively, aren't available or aren't easy discover, in program or on net.
