Thread: Audible error, which log to check?

i'm trying install onto old touch terminal, sort of thing used till in department store.

if try booting off 11.04 live usb after age , lot of concole output i'm dumped @ limited console prompt.

decided try 10.10 live usb, came gui, wanted log in details, having read around found details (username: ubuntu password: leave blank), couple of second 4 beat drum roll error , login. if chose safe mode bottom of screen , used log in details fine.

decided proceed install in safe mode, completed without issue, again despite having chosen automatic log in, drops me @ login gui, give drum roll if try , log in normally, fine safe mode.

don't expect diagnose problem this, i'm not sure of log files in using system log viewer. useful.

also, how clear log files? thinking try clearing them down, log out, try , log in , have lot less logging through.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
