Thread: Considering a tech career

i'm college student studying business specialization. basically, have opportunity take classes. range programming, advertising design, media communication, general communications management, network management , social commuting.

of have had job in professional world, there field see , coming? i'm interested in media communication maybe work tv networks or stations.
field i'm interested in product testing. don't know how of fields can study push myself towards product testing, second choice after media communication

i'm not hyped software development (coding). network management sounds okay, don't see myself doing years , years. know can job hop, i'd rather not it.

basically, have enjoyed time in relative work in it? if have relevant experience, mind sharing it?

i haven't worked in industry long. i'm working in called jr. developer position. i've worked in systems admin area. sysadmin field. surprisingly, developing more in linux environment, administering more in windows environment (probably because understand more intuitively i'm relatively new linux).

haven't done project testing have been offered several jobs in area. type of jobs i've heard sounds pays less of other areas, still pays better non-technical jobs. guess i'm saying if want technical field, there more lucrative, more enjoyable field testing.
