Thread: how do you download gtkpod???

for past 2 days ive been trying download latest version of gtkpod can put films on ipod when go on website , press download newer version of gtk pod comes load of writing! downloaded old version of gtk pod synaptic package manager not allow me put films on ipod!!?

i downloaded here.

1. click link on page says "official release".
2. on next page, click link says "gtkpod". (you have libraries since using version of already).
3. on sourceforge, , want click link says "gtkpod-2.0.2".
4. click link says "gtkpod-2.0.2.tar.gz".
5. see screen sort of form on it. ignore form, has nothing download. says in fine print has nothing download, have no clue why it's there. (who stops fill out form while downloading something?)
5a. turn off popup blocking if using any. prevent download happening if have popup blocking enabled.
6. while staring @ form wondering heck going on, near top of screen there countdown saying download begin in 5, 4, 3,... (in seconds). once finishes, popup asking if want save or open file. click save, , save going extract , build tar.
