Thread: reinstalling windows

is possible re-install windows without loosing information , files? defeated , need use computer... attempts help, such simple problem should not take days resolve. don't have computer background run ubuntu seems. solution internet problem erase ubuntu 10.04 , install 11.04 , erases of files...

if can, recommend backing system (if windows or ubuntu).

're-installing' windows without losing anything, know can repair windows machine popping in installer cd , instead of 'installing', want select 'repair' (this option show if installer can see windows os installed presently) , repair base windows os only. installation of sorts mean 'lose of data' in windows world

also, should able upgrade 10.04 11.04 without removing files trying 'upgrade' option found in:

system >> administration >> update manager

once 'update manager' window opens, should see says: "new ubuntu release '11.04' available" button next it. should upgrade system 11.04.

if don't take of advise above, take 1 'backup need on operating system choose!'. period.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
