Thread: Tuxguitar and Rhythmbox

hi, 2 programs tuxguitar, , rhythmbox. tux guitar tablature editor, , rhythmbox audio management program/audio player.

sometimes, when reading tabs, need find out if isn't right, check playing part in rhythmbox see if tab correct. used able few months ago. upgraded 11.04, , there lots of changes packages , stuff.

more specific, whenever tuxguitar running, i'll try play in rhythmbox, , there no audio, , "time progressed through track" doesn't change. sorry if sounded confusing.

grateful if tell me how make rhythmbox , tuxguitar can play @ same time.

also, remember in "tools>settings>sound" options, using "realtime sequencer" @ port had "gervill" in it. don't have options available reason, , have no idea how back.

it turns out needed install package reason must have been uninstalled during switch 11.04. interested, or having problem, package "tuxguitar-jsa", , gives tuxguitar access java's sound api.

issue's been fixed now.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
