Thread: Why does plugin-container use so much RAM?


when use firefox, accumulate multiple plugin-container processes, typically 1 of them sits around hanging onto on 200 mb of ram. think happens when watch flash videos. having flash app on web page cause plugin-container process created? ever go away without explicitly killing them or closing firefox? if stay around, ever free ram?
