please start posts section referring example:

d1.16 developers may not list extensions in own extension specific category. developers should rather promote available features in main listing. should removed.

i hope leave jwc working document can make final tweaks , submit approval.

this exception above rules on review , vote soliciting. developers may promote listing using following text:

"if use [extension name], please post rating , review @ joomla! extensions directory."

[extension name] replaced name of developer's extension , text may linked listing on joomla! extensions directory. ensure fairness , accuracy in votes , reviews, deviation text not allowed. translations of text languages other english allowed long meaning same.

this should overhauled.
while ok on web sites, nightmare use when asking users after giving support.
1. there strong tendency of users skip text. guess consider kind of advertisement.
2. if give support know user using extension. "if use..." reads pretty unprofessional.
3. reads foreign body in emails , irritates user.

i think better approach give freedom use own text restrict sematically.
e.g. a review request may not manipulate or dictate users review like:
"please vote 5 stars on joomla extensions directory".
or :
"we give refund if vote 5 stars us".

imho text like: "hope appreciate our service. verry happy if leave vote , review on joomla extensions directory" fine because doesn't tell user has write or vote.
