Windows 7 64 bit installation problem

i installed adobe flash player on new pc running windows 7 64 bit. downloaded directly adobe website through ie. program not appear on program list in windows although when check through control panel on programs uninstall shows there! (adobe flash player 11 activex).

 

have gone through adobe online process , shows program there, working fine, latest version etc. unistalled once using adobe flash player uninstall program , reinstalled windows still can not find it. have repeated process second time, following steps outlined pat willener in earlier reply similar problem on 05/08/2012 7:10 pm. without sucess.

 

note had installed google chrome had uninstalled because of other problems had installation.

 

why windows 7 cannot see programn or allow me use existing flv files sit in video folder?

flash player browser add-on (activex control internet explorer, plugin other browsers), not standalone program.

 

there standalone flash player (projector; download http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html), can play swf files.  flv files need different player, vlc media player.  (there used adobe media player, no longer available download.)

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
