Premiere Elements 10 Doesn't Like My User Account

i'm newbie here , posting in forums in general, i'll ask forgiveness front i'm learning. here's have going on:

computer: 2012 macbook air running snow leopard, since it's new, haven't loaded of old crap on it, trying keep humming along!

 

issue: took me forever download , install pe10--with adobe's chat support able taken care of--i downloaded , ran "premierefix" installer.

 

whenever launch program own account on laptop, error box reading "adobe premiere elements 10 quit unexpectedly." , have 3 options: ignore (which closes it); report (which sends detailed report apple, not adobe); , reopen puts me vicious cycle.

 

when pinged chat support earlier, had me set new admin account on same laptop under name of "test" , when launched program worked fine!

 

i found info on forum how correct user account issues , followed them "t" no avail. uninstalled pe program , files , reinstalled , same thing keeps happening.

 

anyone have clue how can fix without having log out of account on laptop , log in?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
