Thread: any1 recommend a studio quality usb mic? interface?

there similar thread (someone having trouble 1 have) didn't want hi-jack topic recommendations of other ones.

anyhow, comes in 2 parts

1: i've been thinking buying new audio interface (since nobody out there seems know how tascam us-144 mkii have working). 2 i've been looking @ (based on i've read on ubuntu-related pages) art usb dual pre (http://www.amazon.com/art-usb-dual-c...=2pxvu5gpupsus) , lexicon lambda (http://www.amazon.com/lexicon-lambda...=2pxvu5gpupsus) ... thoughts or insights?

2: though i'm looking (above) ways plug in current studio mic , other things interfaces, i've thought idea (for portability reasons) of looking studio-quality (but not crazy top of line expensive) usb microphone. have no idea what's , what's ubuntu. i've been trying run searches insights on this, pulls such sea of unrelated discussions, figured might ok ask (even though i'm sure out there has answered this)

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
